It has truly been a family Christmas

This Christmas was different. I am used to having my whole family around me during the winter holidays but this year was the exception. It was quiet. I can't say I liked it, I can't say I didn't. It was just not the usual. Spending time with my mom and dad was awesome though, I really missed us three together for a few days. I study in Cluj and my parents live in Sibiu so we are not together everyday and this winter vacation was a great opportunity for us to catch up.

Not all things went so well, considering the fact that I almost broke my feet, thank God it's not that serious but after more than a week it still hurts when I step on it. At least the doctor said that when the pain is gone I can go skiing so this is great news because if it had been broken, there was no way I could be on the slopes this season.

Having my two little cousins on a visit on the 26th made my day. I love them very much and I wish I could see them more often. Ianna is my little angel and Raoul has so much energy, I have no clue where he gets it from.

During Christmas time, my city looks like the magical places all fairytales have. It's so full of lights and joy, ahh, I love it. The Christmas Market is already a tradition and people say that it's almost as big and beautiful as the famous Wiener Christkindlmarkt. Although I have been in Vienna so many times, I haven't seen the Christmas Market myself so I can't share my opinion, but what I know for sure is that our market here in Sibiu is truly wonderful.

Here are some pictures from this winter holiday:
